Zamzam ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.
When you create an account or sign in via Google, Apple, or Facebook, we may collect your name, email address, and profile photo provided by that service. We also store your in-app preferences such as language, notification settings, and Quran reading progress.
We use your information solely to provide and personalise the Zamzam app experience. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Your data is stored securely on our servers. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. Social login tokens are never stored — only the resulting session token is kept.
We use the following third-party services which have their own privacy policies: Google Sign-In, Apple Sign-In, Facebook Login, and Expo (push notifications).
You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing us or using the in-app delete account option. See our Data Deletion page for instructions.
The app is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
